here's how you do it

make sure you don't place yourself in a situation where both players are in actively bindable areas

that is

if you're binding p1 side

make sure p2 side isn't: 

1. binding movement

2. hovering over any other input

(the easiest way to do this is just have p2 side over the "done" section)

vice versa for p1 side
